Little Pilot's DIY Wooden Drone Kit is a build it yourself quadcopter that arrives as two laser cut wooden sheets, a set of motors and boards, and a picture by picture instruction guide. Your child pops the numbered parts out of the sheets and presses them together, clips in the motors and wiring, and then builds the wooden remote control the same way, so there are two full builds in one box. Most families finish in one afternoon at the kitchen table with no screwdriver and no complicated tools. Charge the battery over USB, take it outside, and the thing they built with their own hands lifts off the ground.
